NHS Closure due to snow

State Government Offices in Carson, Douglas, Lyon, Storey, and Washoe Close Early Today, Friday – 3/1/24 at 1:30 p.m.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) are reporting severe weather and potentially dangerous road conditions throughout northern Nevada this afternoon Friday, March 1, 2024 through the weekend. As such, Governor Lombardo has ordered all State executive branch government offices (other than essential public safety and corrections personnel) to be closed at 1:30 p.m. today, Friday, March 1, 2024, in Carson City, Douglas County, Lyon County, Storey County, and Washoe County.
