June Speaker: Dennis Robert Little
Dennis Robert Little, locally known as “Dennis at the Museum” is a long-time resident of Douglas County, Nevada. With a passion for history, he’s actively involved with the Douglas County Historical Society, where he oversees Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville, and the Courthouse Museum in Genoa. In addition to his work, he’s involved with E. Clampus Vitus and their obsession with the preservation of lesser known, often more colorful elements of days-gone-by. Dennis resided in Amador County, California, before 1976, where he worked with various engineering firms specializing in mining. It was during this time he became interested in the rich and fascinating history associated with the mines where he was assigned. Dennis is an avid 4-wheel drive enthusiast and backcountry hiker.
