Don’t miss our Saturday program on the Reno Cure

Here’s your chance to enjoy our Nevada History performance on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 1-2pm.

Local authors and historians David & Gayle Woodruff present a living history program, “The Reno Cure.” Fictive Washoe Valley divorce ranch couple, Clive and Vivian Sterling, talk about the huge importance and influence the unique “divorce industry” played in Reno and Nevada during the 1930s, 40s and 50s.

It wasn’t just legalized gaming that brought the Truckee River town to be known as the Biggest Little City in the World. The 55-minute program is interesting, entertaining, and often amusing.
